waste of time
pointless seconds drag to hours in a line

but its going backwards like my life

so much wasted

i was amped up to Go speed
now i'm lagging behind
now i've wasted the brilliance
that was sparked in my mind

Vixxa's Ideal Dream Man

First of all...
I like sensuality. Case in point, Robin Thicke "Sex Therapy" and Chris Isaac "Wicked Games".

Second of all...
I hate bullshitters.
This does not mean you have to be honest 24/7/365. That is literally impossible, even for the sake of forgetting stuff or mis-wording things. I mean big lies as in you have a criminal record, secret drug habit, or addiction, or are secretly gay or something horrible that would ruin my life if I found out years down the road. (You will find that I really don't believe in extremes, because I don't even believe 100 percents even exist...we're all human, we're all flawed, unless you're Jesus or Prince, you aren't going to be perfect and I don't expect that).

Ideal Man Recipe.
1 part Roger Rabbit (let me count the ways....total devotion to Jessica and can make her laugh!! AWW.)
1 part Robin Thicke (HOTTIE. Talented, sensual, actually handsome, but not trying too hard and not being gross)
1 part Xzibit (ok...big, seemingly scary black man who really could protect me and throw me over his shoulder but then laughs and is like hilarious in person?? Brilliant!)
1 part Gary Oldman as Dracula.
1 part D'Angelo ONLY FROM THE UNTITLED VIDEO, NOT HIM IN REAL LIFE.
1 part Johnny Depp as Capt. Jack Sparrow.
1 part Rob Zombie. Rocker, likes horror and goth stuff, but seems like he would be a ton of fun and very smart and probably tons of fun in bed.
1 part Wolverine.
99 part Batman/Bruce Wayne
minus leaving me in the end to be a crusader and stressing and worrying about him dying.
Other pit-fall(s) would be him caring more about society than me. Ultimately we would need to compromise and although I would support his crusade and pursue an independent life and mission of my own, I would also need to come first...cuz if momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.
Will most likely need psychotherapy so he's better at communicating and not overly-invested in his own past.

Plusses include: million dollar bank account; big mansion where I could do Vixxa photo-shoots anytime I wanted with any theme and any costume, outfit, and props I wanted; wicked car that's 100% bullet and fire proof; kinky bat cave where we could be all alone; cool butler that offers words of wisdom at the perfect moment and is a chauffeur; tortured, deep soul who would understand my issues with PTSD; genuinely good man out to destroy destroy evil, sweet martial arts training, and, of course, access to bangin' hallucinogens (hahaha, actually I'm not really into hallucinogens, unless they were part of a really bad-ass warrior training ala Rahj A Ghoul...i still don't know how to spell his name...).

That's all I can think of for now, but I'm certain I will be back to add and edit this list.

What is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

I received an email from a former customer of mine at Delilah’s. He is an intelligent, well-rounded individual, and artist (photographer/fine artist).
I told him of my recent diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome this past May, at the Fibromyalgia and Fatigue Center in King of Prussia, PA. He replied:
“I'm sorry to hear about your trials with chronic fatigue. Of course alot of people still don't understand it or don't take it seriously as a medical issue, so I can only imagine how that's been for you.”
He is right: most people do not acknowledge that CFS (or Fibromyalgia, or even DEPRESSION) is a serious medical condition.
(**NOTE: I don’t entirely think CFS & Fibromyalgia are the SAME disorder, but they stem from the same root problem, and are very similar).
To be fair, the research on CFS & Fibromyalgia has been more prominent within the past ten to fifteen years or so.
I know that, five years ago, when I went to the physician at my school, I was told to have a blood test (check), and if it was “normal” (indicating no anemia, no lyme disease, no thyroid issues...) that I would be considered to have Depression. I then began medication treatment with anti-depressants.
(**NOTE: Thyroid blood tests are rarely, if ever, accurate).
While I do think it is true that I did, in fact, have depression, I ultimately believe that depression is a symptom of a larger physical disease or nerve & cell destruction in the body and brain as a result of psychological, emotional, and/or physical stress. The treatment with anti-depressant medications really has not only not helped, but has worsened my condition in some areas. Currently, I am off all anti-depressant medications, and supplement with a variety of free form amino acids, supplements, a good diet, and different forms of therapies.
Feel free to read below, or peruse the website for more information on CFS & Fibromyalgia:
Symptoms
Chronic fatigue syndrome can be misdiagnosed or overlooked because its symptoms are common to other many disorders. Fatigue, for instance, is found in hundreds of illnesses. The nature of the symptoms, however, can help distinguish CFS from other illnesses.
Primary Symptoms
As the name chronic fatigue syndrome suggests, this illness is accompanied by fatigue. However, it's not the kind of fatigue we experience after a particularly busy day or week, after a sleepless night or after a single stressful event. It's a severe, incapacitating fatigue that isn't improved by bed rest and that may be worsened by physical or mental activity. It's an all-encompassing fatigue that results in a dramatic decline in both activity level and stamina.
People with CFS function at a significantly lower level of activity than they were capable of prior to becoming ill. The illness results in a substantial reduction in occupational (work-related), personal, social or educational activities.
The fatigue of CFS is accompanied by characteristic symptoms lasting at least six months. These symptoms include:
  • difficulties with memory and concentration
  • problems with sleep
  • persistent muscle pain
  • joint pain (without redness or swelling)
  • headaches
  • tender lymph nodes
  • increased malaise (fatigue and sickness) following exertion
  • sore throat
Other Symptoms
The symptoms listed above are the symptoms used to diagnose this illness. However, many CFS patients may experience other symptoms, including:
  • irritable bowel
  • depression or psychological problems (irritability, mood swings, anxiety, panic attacks)
  • chills and night sweats
  • visual disturbances (blurring, sensitivity to light, eye pain)
  • allergies or sensitivities to foods, odors, chemicals, medications, or noise
  • brain fog (feeling like you're in a mental fog)
  • difficulty maintaining upright position, dizziness, balance problems or fainting
It's important to tell your health care professional if you're experiencing any of these symptoms. They may co-occur in CFS, or they may indicate that you have another treatable disorder. Only a health care professional can diagnose CFS.
What's the clinical course of CFS?
The severity of CFS varies from patient to patient, with some people able to maintain fairly active lives. For most symptomatic patients, however, CFS significantly limits work, school and family activities.
While symptoms vary from person to person in number, type and severity, all CFS patients are functionally impaired to some degree. CDC studies show that CFS can be as disabling as multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, end-stage renal disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and similar chronic conditions.
CFS often follows a cyclical course, alternating between periods of illness and relative well-being. Some patients experience partial or complete remission of symptoms during the course of the illness, but symptoms often reoccur. This pattern of remission and relapse makes CFS especially hard for patients to manage. Patients who are in remission may be tempted to overdo activities when they're feeling better, which can actually cause a relapse.
The percentage of CFS patients who recover is unknown, but there is some evidence to indicate that the sooner a person is treated, the better the chance of improvement. This means early diagnosis and treatment are important.”

Mt Lebanon Man Charged With Phila. Abortion Doctor Accused of Murder

This article is from a little over one month ago.

This story reports of a con-man, quack abortion doctor operating an illegal practice in Mt. Lebanon (Bucks County) and Philadelphia. My sources tell me the a good number of the women in this abortion ring were from overseas (non-Americans, looking for refuge from their homelands, and desperate to not bring a baby into this world that they cannot properly care for).

The women victims of this man's abortions were left with parts of the baby and/or fetuses still in their wombs.
Currently, Planned Parenthood is also under attack, while they have remained a safe, open resource center for young women (primarily african-american, approx. age 16) for preventative birth control, low-cost pap smears & STD screenings, and a last-resort place for safe, clean abortions (which are often the last resort from a raping or incest forced on the young woman). RE: The Philadelphia Inquirer

Be Sure to Always TRUST YOUR DOCTOR!!!

"Mt. Lebo Man Charged With Philadelphia Abortion Doctor Accused Of Murder

Authorities this morning arrested a Mt. Lebanon man on murder charges, saying he helped a Philadelphia abortion doctor kill babies.
Detectives from the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office arrested Steven Massof, 48, at his home, said Mike Manko, spokesman for the office. Massof faces 12 charges including two counts of murder.
Massof worked in the Philadelphia clinic of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who was charged with eight counts of murder in the deaths of a patient and seven babies who were born alive and then killed with scissors, Philadelphia prosecutors said.
Gosnell, 69, made millions of dollars over 30 years, performing as many illegal, late-term abortions as he could, prosecutors said. State regulators ignored complaints about him and failed to visit or inspect his clinic since 1993, but no charges were warranted against them, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams said.
Gosnell "induced labor, forced the live birth of viable babies in the sixth, seventh, eighth month of pregnancy and then killed those babies by cutting into the back of the neck with scissors and severing their spinal cord," Williams said.
Williams said patients were subjected to squalid and barbaric conditions at Gosnell's Women's Medical Society.
According to a 63-page grand jury presentment, Massof admitted that he himself had cut the spinal cords of babies and regularly witnessed such killings. Massof left the clinic in 2008 and now works as a telemarketer. He was an unlicensed medical school graduate whom Gosnell employed from 2003 to 2008 to perform abortions, the presentment states.
One of the murder charges against Massof stems from him telling the grand jury he was assisting Gosnell with an abortion when he saw the baby's leg "jerk and move." After he observed this movement, Massof saw Gosnell kill the baby, according to the presentment.
Authorities went to investigate drug-related complaints at the clinic last year and stumbled on what Williams called a "house of horrors."
"There were bags and bottles holding aborted fetuses were scattered throughout the building," Williams said. "There were jars, lining shelves, with severed feet that he kept for no medical purpose."
The clinic was shut down and Gosnell's medical license was suspended after the raid.
Workers, some of whom also are charged with murder, were untrained and unlicensed, including a high-school student who performed anesthesia with potentially lethal narcotics, Williams said.
Gosnell, Massof and eight other employees are in custody, authorities said.

10 Signs That You're Dating a Sociopath

Thank you, Andrew, for sending this article!!

10 Signs That You're Dating a Sociopath

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.Jan. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As Valentine's Day approaches, thoughts turn to love. This is true of most people -- but not all.
"There are people in the world who don't care about love," says Donna Andersen, author of Lovefraud.com. "They don't even know what love is. But they do care about power, control and sex."
These people, Andersen says, are called sociopaths. Most people think a sociopath is a deranged serial killer, but this isn't true. "Sociopaths know exactly what they are doing, and most of them never kill anyone," she says. "But they are social predators who exploit just about everyone they meet. They have no heart, no conscience and no remorse."
Andersen learned about sociopaths the hard way -- by marrying one. Her husband took $250,000 from her, cheated with at least six women during a two-year marriage, had a child with one of them, and 10 days after Andersen left him, married the mother of the child. It was the second time he committed bigamy.
Andersen has a new book about her experience, called, "Love Fraud - How marriage to a sociopath fulfilled my spiritual plan," which was named a "Reviewer's Choice" by the Midwest Book Review. And, she launched Lovefraud.com to teach people how to recognize and recover from sociopaths.
Based on her experience, and the experiences of thousands of readers, Andersen compiled the following list of warning signs that a romantic interest may, in fact, be a sociopath.
  1. Charisma and charm. They're smooth talkers, always have an answer, never miss a beat. They seem to be very exciting.
  2. Enormous ego. They act like the smartest, richest or most successful people around. They may actually come out and tell you that.
  3. Overly attentive. They call, text and e-mail constantly. They want to be with you every moment. They resent time you spend with your family and friends.
  4. Jekyll and Hyde personality. One minute they love you; the next minute they hate you. Their personality changes like flipping a switch.
  5. Blame others. Nothing is ever their fault. They always have an excuse. Someone else causes their problems.
  6. Lies and gaps in the story. You ask questions, and the answers are vague. They tell stupid lies. They tell outrageous lies. They lie when they'd make out better telling the truth.
  7. Intense eye contact. Call it the predatory stare. If you get a chill down your spine when they look at you, pay attention.
  8. Move fast. They quickly proclaim that you're their true love and soul mate. They want to move in together or get married quickly.
  9. Pity play. They appeal to your sympathy. They want you to feel sorry for their abusive childhood, psychotic ex, incurable disease or financial setbacks.
  10. Sexual magnetism. If you feel intense attraction, if your physical relationship is unbelievable, it may be their excess testosterone.

1st Amendment

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."

Duly Noted Tidbits:

"[First Amendment Center director, Kenneth Paulson,  said that "While Americans respect the First Amendment as an ideal, increasingly they're ambivalent when it protects offensive ideas or troubling speech or art or music." The results for their poll taken in 2000 show:

Two thirds of American adults favor the banning of hate speech. This troubles many civil rights supporters. As Ken Paulson said: "The problem with that is it's so easy to characterize what someone else says that offends you as 'hate speech.' "]"

So sorry to offend you.

Not.

It's a free country, bitch.

Tupac vs. Biggie

Who do you prefer, and why?

I prefer Tupac. I've given this a rather decent amount of thought.
Tupac had a way better message, and I believe him to be a far better writer and talent overall.

He actually encouraged women and wrote a song about his mom. No, he was not perfect, but no one is, and I believe he was a far more socially conscious and courageous than Big and the east coast.

There are many theories that Tupac was a prophet. I believe the proof speaks for itself.

Some say the blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice
I say the darker the flesh then the deeper the roots
I give a holler to my sisters on welfare
Tupac cares and don't nobody else care

And uhh, I know they like to beat ya down a lot
When you come around the block, brothas clown a lot
But please don't cry, dry your eyes, never let up
Forgive but don't forget, girl, keep ya head up

And when he tells you, you ain't nothin', don't believe him
And if he can't learn to love you, you should leave him
'Coz sista, you don't need him
And I ain't tryin' to gas ya up, I just call 'em how I see 'em

You know it makes me unhappy, what's that
When brothas make babies and leave a young mother to be a pappy
And since we all came from a woman
Got our name from a woman and our game from a woman

I wonder why we take from our women
Why we rape our women, do we hate our women?
I think it's time to kill for our women
Time to heal our women, be real to our women

And if we don't, we'll have a race of babies
That will hate the ladies, that make the babies
And since a man can't make one
He has no right to tell a woman when and where to create one

So will the real men get up
I know you're fed up ladies but keep ya head up

Keep ya head up, ooo, child things are gonna get easier
Ooo, child things are gonna get brighter
Keep ya head up, ooo, child things are gonna get easier
Ooo, child things are gonna get brighter

Aiyyo, I remember Marvin Gaye, used to sing to me
He had me feelin' like black was the thing to be
And suddenly the ghetto didn't seem so tough
And though we had it rough, we always had enough

I huffed and puffed about my curfew and broke the rules
Ran with the local crew and had a smoke or two
And I realize, momma really paid the price
She nearly gave her life to raise me right

And all I had to give her was my pipe dream
Of how I'd rock the mic and make it to the bright screen
I'm tryin' to make a dollar out of fifteen cents
It's hard to be legit and still pay the rent

And in the end it seems I'm headin' for the pen
I try and find my friends but they're blowin' in the wind
Last night my buddy lost his whole family
It's gonna take the man in me to conquer this insanity

It seems tha rain'll never let up
I try to keep my head up and still keep from gettin' wet up
You know it's funny when it rains, it pours
They got money for wars but can't feed the poor

Say there ain't no hope for the youth and the truth is
It ain't no hope for the future

And then they wonder why we crazy
I blame my mother for turning my brother into a crack baby

We ain't meant to survive 'coz it's a setup
And even though you're fed up
Huh, ya got to keep ya head up

Keep ya head up, ooo, child things are gonna get easier
Ooo, child things are gonna get brighter
Keep ya head up, ooo, child things are gonna get easier
Ooo, child things are gonna get brighter

And uhh, to all the ladies havin' babies on their own
I know it's kinda rough and you're feelin' all alone
Daddy's long gone and he left you by ya lonesome
Thank the Lord for my kids, even if nobody else want 'em

'Coz I think we can make it, in fact, I'm sure
And if you fall, stand tall and comeback for more
'Coz ain't nothin' worse than when your son
Wants to know why his daddy don't love him no mo'

You can't complain, you was dealt this
Hell of a hand without a man, feelin' helpless
Because there's too many things for you to deal with
Dying inside but outside you're looking fearless

While tears is rollin' down your cheeks
Ya steady hopin' things don't all down this week
'Coz if it did, you couldn't take it and don't blame me
I was given this world, I didn't make it

And now my son's gettin' older and older and cold
From havin' the world on his shoulders
While the rich kids is drivin' Benz
I'm still tryin' to hold on to my survivin' friends

And it's crazy, it seems it'll never let up
But please, you got to keep ya head up
